The Shoreview Einhausen Sister City Association celebrates 20 years.
The Shoreview Einhausen Sister City Association (SESCA) recently celebrated their 20th anniversary. In October 2003, an agreement was signed by the then mayors of both cities (Sandy Martin and Philipp Bohrer) establishing the sister city relationship with Einhausen, Germany and Shoreview, Minnesota.
The group celebrated with a gathering at the Yoerg Brewery in St. Paul, which included Shoreview’s current mayor Sue Denkinger and city council member Cory Springhorn. Both are members of SESCA!
The mission of SESCA Is to promote friendship and international goodwill by creating opportunities for all citizens of the greater Shoreview area to experience the German culture through a variety of social, educational, and cultural activities, with an emphasis on exchanges and personal interactions with the people of Einhausen, Germany.
